The Ice age

I look deep in your eyes

and search for warmth

but what I see is cold weather

Why can't your eyes 

turn like the spring sun

and make me feel

what I want to feel

Do I try not hard enough

or do you still want me to 

till when do I wait

to witness the ice age meltdown?

I have lost you...

When you dream
you forget
what you see
is a mirage
u are far away
from what is real

when I fell in love
I failed to see
the danger that lurked
it finally reared its head
and tore my heart
into a million pieces

as blood gushed out
no stitches of wisdom
or band-aid of comfort
could alleviate my pain
it kept flowing
till I was left with none

today my heart is empty
yet heavy with memories
that refuse to die away
and keep haunting my dreams
however the reality is
I have lost you

On a deserted island

On a deserted island I stand, all alone...what I can see is the blue ocean. There is no sign of life till the end of the horizon. Yet I keep checking for clues if I can locate you. My hope turns into despair as every time you appear you turn your back towards me and walk endlessly towards the horizon opposite me. The ever shining sun blinds me as I fight hard to keep visibility of your guild, moving away from mine. I want to run and hold you back, hug you tight, but my legs freeze and I don't make a movement. Tears flow down my cheeks while you keep walking  ahead without looking behind at what you've left or missed. Without any regret or remorse you move on. Alas neither do I see you now nor am I left with the hope to. 

look what you've done...

painful streams flow down my eyes

hurt yet again this heart aches

seeking comfort from someone

who doesn't pay heed

did never and if ever will

is also uncertain

yet like a child 

seeking refuge from its mother

even after being chastened

my heart longs for you

but my signs of agony 

aren't strong enough

to snatch that bandage

off your eyes

off your conscience

to feel my love for you

to see how much I need you

to know what you mean to me
